I hate phone companies...

I have had such a hard time with this phone since we've gotten it, it's not funny anymore. A week after we got our phones, this guy called me harrassing me b/c I had stolen his number. Evidentally, when Cingular gave us our numbers, they gave me a phone number that had already been taken. We got phone calls from his wife/girlfriend (whatever she is) harrassing us, calling us names b/c she was trying to get ahold of "Peter". (The guy who had the number before me) We haven't gotten any calls since then. (3 weeks ago roughly) But my best friend called me over the weekend and got not my voicemail, but Peters. So all those calls that I've rejected or didn't have time to get or just didn't hear my phone ring, have gone to that voicemail. So, that meaning, I could've had job interviews that I didn't know about, or something serious could have happened to our family/friends.

So now today, Rob's been on the phone with cingular all day trying to get free stuff for our inconvience. My phone has been blowing up so much today. They changed my phone number when I insisted they don't. They changed it back to my old number..UGH!! They said they'd have to change it b/c I haven't had my phone very long and the guy who had the number before me is allowed to keep it b/c he had it first. I told them no way. They did it anyway. No. So Rob called and that's when they changed it back. Now, all we have to worry about is getting his stupid voice off of my voicemail and make him either disconnect his number and get a new one or he'll have to get a whole new service. This is my number. It's not our fault they gave me this number. Technically it's mine, so I"m not going to get rid of it. BOO YA!

So now I don't know what I'm waiting for. I guess, I'm waiting for them to fix whatever they need to fix and make things RIGHT! Until then, I have no more news.

Right now though, I hate cingular.................
