Been looking to trade in both of our cars.. For what I dunno. We haven't really come to any agreement on anything. It's hard too because we have no idea what we will get for both the Grand Am and the BMW. I know the smart thing would be to decide what we want first, find the cars we want, go to the dealership and get a quote. But it's just been too darn hot out it's too miserable to do anything fun like that. Heard Indy was in the 70's this weekend which makes me sick b/c it's been in the low to mid 90's here. Stupid Florida. That's what we get though for moving here. Oh well. Such as life.
Although, I've been going insane this weekend, it's been pretty relaxing considering we haven't done much of anything. And to not do anything after running around during the week like we usually do is well...nice. It's a nice change of pace.
Wasn't sure if I or Rob had mentioned this in either of our updates, but we found a place in Fishers, IN who is owned by the same company as where we're living now. We're trying to talk to the company about transferring if for some reason Rob does find a job there soon. Versant Place (where we're living now) had told us they don't do transfers, which in my opinion is ridiculous. You'd think a company would do anything in their power to make as much money from customers. Anywho, Rob emailed the company and nicely told them how he felt. (In a professional way of course) They emailed him back and said that the head manager would give him a call and see what she could do in helping us. So, in return, the lady who is in charge of Versant Place called him and said that the manager was out of town, but would give him a call as soon as she got back. Well, we haven't heard anything unfortunately, but no worries...Rob is going to call probably Tuesday and check up on the status and see what they can do for us. It would be so great to do that cuz then we wouldn't have to break our lease and pay a crap ton. We'd probably just have to pay the deposit again which I'm not aruging about!
So there ya have it. Hopefully, if everything works out well we can be back up and living the Indy life before Christmas. If not by Christmas, then at LEAST by next March. Aren't you guys just so happy for us!! It's time for us to be back home...
And yes...you heard about my dad's job falling through...It sucks, it's bull and well, lets just say he's not done negotiating.. He's being smart about the whole thing! Just wish us luck on everything!!
