Patience

There's been a lot going on since I last updated. Too much to tell all at once, so I'll make long stories short.

Our Indy trip is pretty much final. We've made a decision on when we're moving back home, but it's not going to be until next year sometime. Most likely when his 6 month contract is over. We're just overall ready to be back, but it's just the waiting process that we don't like. Time is going slow now that we have a set time on moving back. It's just not going fast enough...

My job is not going very well these days. It's the boss, not my actual job job. He's back into his nit-picky stage and I'm actually done with it. I'm in the process of looking for a part-time job closer to where we live (like Rob found). There isn't much out there right now which sucks, but I'm hoping to find something soon. The biggest kicker was recently (two days ago). My best friend Megan offered to pay for at least half of a plane ticket, so she could see me the weekend after my birthday. I had to do some "twisting" some words around to my boss about going up on a weekend, but missing 1 day of work. I said I had family to visit which isn't completely true, but it might as well be considering Megan is pretty close to that..or at least it's felt like that for a long time now. One of the days though my boss is out of town so we're not seeing patients that day which would work out perfectly. (October 25th-Thursday) The only working day I'd miss is Friday the 26th, which isn't a big deal at all considering I'm a good employee. I have never called in since I've been there for the 5 months that I have.  He said unless someone in my family was dying, I couldn't take off.. but yet he gets to take off whenever the crap he wants for family reasons. He felt bad though for making me upset, so he wanted to reconsider, but needed me to write a written note about why I needed to take off. Whatever..
 He's such a hypocrite in so many ways, I hate it. He makes me stress all day, makes me think I'm doing such a crappy job, and never gives me any sort of credit at all. It's all about him making money and that's it. I'm just done with it and need to move foward. Besides, if I find something closer, that will be less money spent on gas and tolls. Very worth it if you ask me. I guess that wasn't too short of a story, but I feel better for sharing it it with you guys.

Did I mention I'm ready to move back? Haha...oh yeah and that my birthday is in a few weeks? LoL.
