My Indy Trip October 2007

So, as you all know, I went to Indy
last Thursday-Sunday. I had such a great time. Having alone time with
my girls was really what I have needed for a while. Although, I really
missed Rob having a girls weekend was great. I do have pictures and I
will post a few in this update, but the majority of the pictures I post
will be in the picture forum, so be sure to check them out as well!

This is why Megan rocks...She freakin' paid for part of my ticket to fly up...

And of course....partying with Mal is ALWAYS a pleasure!


And the fact that Megan drove me all the way to Greenwood to be with my best friends was just way too generous of her...

This is just a little taste of what kind of fun I had when I was there... I was ready to come home but at the same time, I wanted to stay. If I had a car, there would have been other people I would have gone to visit, but that's ok. I will see them at Christmas time.

Thursday, we didn't do much really because when I got into Indy, we went straight to Bloomington because Megan had to meet with her group to practice her presentation at a certain time. So, I just surfed the net and took a small nap and waited for her..Had a few drinks when she returned and just chilled the rest of the night.
Friday, we went shopping for the party on Saturday pretty much all day which was cool because I got the majority of my costume for freakin' cheap.. Friday night we went out to the bars and had a freakin' blast as always..and walked ALL THE WAY HOME... It was such a long walk omg..Our feet hurt so bad. Mallorys hurt so bad that she had this huge ugly blister. It was aweful looking.
Saturday, was the party. We finished shopping, and set up all day pretty much. Got ready for the party and there was a crap ton of people that showed up. More than I have ever seen at her parties before. Some people showed up that weren't even supposed to be there... Drank some free beer and pissed a lot of people off. The party was fun...more people than I liked, but fun.
Sunday, I had to get up at 8am to get ready to leave by 9 because my plane left at 11:40. When we were heading to the airport it was 38 degrees...

See, I thought I could handle the weather, but I wasn't ready for this it...not yet.. One more winter in Florida is what I really want...and then I will get prepared for the cold weather in Indy. Just not this year... I'm so glad we decided not to move in November, b/c we both weren't ready for the cold..

Anyway, I arrived in Tampa around 2pm and Rob was soo ready to see me. I wasn't even looking for him yet (cuz I was looking for him in another area) and all out of the blue I saw him running to me...Yes folks, running. How cute right?! Yeah, it was. I missed him a lot. It was good to be home. Didn't do much of anything the rest of the day though...Parents came over for about an hour just to chat, and then we ordered pizza and vegged the whole night... Got my free birfday colstone ice cream treat which was awesome....and then yes...got ready for bed and had to work the next day..SUCKY!!!!

And now I'm back to the real world...Almost got through this week and I'm sooo ready for the weekend already. But there is a short/long summary of my trip to Indy.. It was totally worth it... Until next time...
